We're Baa-ack (Trying to blog again)

Well... these are random phone pictures, but it's a start, right? Here are some basketball/cheerleading pictures.
I'll be honest. I am not a huge cheer fan in general, but she was so darling. However, she was a bit too young and practices were like pulling teeth. My teeth. One by one, without anesthetic. Seriously. We probably should've just quit after the first week. Ah, well. Live and learn.
Yes, I was too cheap to get a picture. This was off my phone.

Jake surprised me one night by coming down in this. What a beautiful girl! It reminded my of Roberta from Swiss Family Robinson.

Jake after his class performance of the frog prince.

Preschool was fun this year. It's over now, but one of the girls (there were 8 of them!) favorite activities was painting. My kids love to paint and are entertained for quite awhile painting rocks and balloons... anything, really.
Brookie loved having preschool at our house. She just jumped right in. Wow, I'll have to post more recent pictures. She's grown some more hair. :)

April 2012

The girls helped me make Jake's elaborate (for me) Light Saber Cake. Brookie's faces crack me up.
We threw Jake a last-minute birthday party with friends from Church.

FHE talent show--songs, dancing, flips, and tricks.

Dyeing Easter eggs... I don't know why we didn't take more pictures...
My girls love to dress up!
 Jake's Let's Play Music! Recital.

We went on a bike ride past this duck pond. Brooke didn't like the bumpy dirt trail, but the rest of us had fun! We came back and fed the ducks.

 Bearizona!

February - April 2012

Jake can always be found with a book. He's reading Harry Potter right now. He feels pretty cool listening to the iPod, too.
 Brookie on the princess computer
The advantage of a small vacuum: child labor!
Cute sisters painting rocks together. My little artists.
 Random snapshots of our life...

Alisa set up a photo-op with "Lion the King" and Brookie. Budding photographer?

We went down to Sedona on a sunny day. Once we got there, the wind picked up and it was quite chilly! The kids still had a ball.

Huge snowstorm means no school or basketball or cheerleading! Poor Alisa! Ready to come in.
Sledding and Grandpa and Grandma Seaman's. They have the best hill!

 Easter brought cousins to Flagstaff!

This little entrepreneur figured out pretty quickly that only the plastic eggs held cash. He refused to pick up the dyed eggs and made out like a bandit ($3 or so, but the other kids got about $.50!).
We tried and tried to get a cousin picture. It just didn't quite happen!

Uncle Josh is so fun! The kids loved the quad rides.
Waiting for Jake to come out of Kindergarten at The Peaks School.
Coconino fund raiser Kids Track Meet. Brookie waiting for Jake and Alisa to run the events.
Jake with buddy Noah Jarvis... warming up.

Alisa and her Coconino track buddy.

Brookie is all about being fancy.
Preschool dance party with our new homemade shakers!

We had a fluke snowstorm after Spring Break!

Scott took Jake on a boy scout campout/fishing trip.

Happy birthday to this little boy who made me a mommy! He requested cinnamon rolls for breakfast so I had to get up at 6 am to roll the dough out and let it rise one more time before baking... all before school. I sure love this little whipper-snapper!

Ice cream and brownie sundaes for the birthday boy! Scott sporting the Christmas gift from his staff: a shirt autographed by Gloria Estefan. Come on, shake your body, baby, do the conga! Ha ha ha.
