Jake played Upward basketball January-March. I would love my kids to have more skills in basketball than I do so they aren't mortified by the idea of a pick-up game, like their mama! He had a good time. We didn't get any good pictures. 

 This creative girl (and her sister!) is always setting up some special activity or game or project. The tea party is ready, complete with table cloth and streamers.

 We took Jake and Alisa up skiiing/snowboarding... braving a very windy day! They had a blast!

 Of course, we tried to make it a fun and positive experience, so we brought a bunch of junk food.

Alisa had her 3 Billy Goat's Gruff performance. She was a beautiful butterfly!

 Knott's Berry Farm was a blast for everyone. Alisa was just shy of the height limit and couldn't go on any of the big roller coasters. She is our dare devil, so she was bummed! Still, the girls had fun on the smaller rides.

 We stayed at Jared and Amanda's for part of the time, then went camping on the beach (on a cliff) at Carlsbad. It was so nice to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean!

 We explored the tide pools one morning. We ran into the Dunn family from our ward! Small world.
