June 2012 Alisa and Brooke's Birthdays

We had family over for Alisa's real birthday and made half a cake to go with cupcakes. 

 Thanks to Brooke's funny pediatrician, Dr. Bosch, Brooke was convinced she wanted Barbie driving in a Mater (from Cars) cake. Grandma Crane delivered! Brooke was thrilled! It turned out beautifully!

 Brooke in her birthday dress from Grandma Seaman. Grandpa Seaman got her a stuffed Rapunzel doll. It has sewn eyes and lips and all. Grandpa made the mistake of pushing it back and forth in Brookie's face so that by the end of those fateful few seconds, she was terrified of Rapunzel. We hid it in the closet, determined to try the doll out next year for her birthday. :)

May-June 2012

We met Devin and Christy and their family in St. George for a quick weekend catch-up. We picked up right where we left off, the kids got along great, and we had a ton of fun swimming in the condo pool, splashing in the splash pad downtown, visiting the temple, and going out to eat. 

 We stopped by Lake Powell on our way home to stretch and throw rocks in the lake.

 Alisa had a girlie princess party. We painted nails, did makeup, danced, and had a great time!
