And just like that, our summer was over, and school started (disturbingly early). Jake started 3rd grade with Ms. Marron, Alisa started 1st grade with Jackie Treadway, and Brookie started preschool at Flagstaff Christian Preschool, held at Flagstaff Gymnastics. We are hoping to strengthen Brookies somewhat gimpy armpit. She's excited to be in class with her cousins, Luke and Treston.
The weather's so nice. I hate that school starts so early. August may be my favorite month. We took advantage of the warm weather to take Scott with us to the Bear Paw pool. We also did a juice cleanse for a week. It was ok. After that, I couldn't touch, smell, or look at the juicer. Ew. So, maybe we went too extreme.
Alisa and Brooklyn started dance with Ms. Jesica (Barker). It is adorable.
Kelsi and Matt came down, and Kelsi went through the temple in Snowflake for the first time. It was a beautiful day! We all got in the spirit of couple pictures, then we ate at Eva's (of course!).
We traveled up to Utah for Matt and Kelsi Josse's wedding. Seven Peaks was closed, much to the kid's dismay, but we hit up laser tag at Trafalgar. They were married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. It was a lovely day. Lisa woke up before dawn to do her hair, which turned out lovely. She was just radiant. The kids were so excited to see her come out like a princess. Her reception was full of dancing--Matt showed his moves! We had a great time. Michelle and Darin's family stopped by, too.
