Easter and Halloween 2012, The Loft, and Dresser Makeover

Brookie and Alisa on Easter morning

Brookie made the CUTEST doggie ever. All dressed for Ashlyn's birthday party.

Kelsi took some family shots for us at Thanksgiving time.

We were watching Luke and Maddie while Bethi and Derek went on a trip. Here are our goofy kids before the ward trunk or treat. Alisa changed her costume for each dress-up occasion.

Luna Lovegood and... Snape? I can't remember what we were. Maybe Scott was Harry Potter's dad?

Alisa chose to be a cheerleader for the Sechrist costume parade.
Jamie Mimran, Jake's 2nd grade teacher
 Kathie Floyd, Alisa's Kindergarten teacher.

Grandpa was making baby Kit Kats from two big "married" Kit Kats. Alisa was amazed at the magic! It was hilarious and so cute to watch.

Trick or Treating outfits. Our kids are so original.
First snow. The kids were thrilled to play in the dusting before school.

Right when we moved in, my dad started measuring our vaulted garage and making plans for a storage loft. At first we were hesitant, but then we realized it would provide some needed storage in a house that doesn't even have a linen closet! So Mike Kelly from Hunts and Josh built us a loft to store all our junk in. We LOVE it.

I bought this dresser on Craigslist because I really wanted a light blue dresser for our family room. Mike Kelly gave me a small compression paint sprayer that made this project (and many others) so much easier! I LOVE how it turned out.
