Ant Swarms

... the bane of our existence right now. We're battling ant trails and kitchen take-overs daily. We will not miss the ants.

Do you eat a lot of Oranges? Or use lemons in your cooking? Save the peels and then blend them in the blender with a little water. If you can trace the line of ants back to their colony then just pour the concoction down their hole. Then pour a small line of it around your doors and openings. The Oil in the peels turns them away. Good Luck!

I left on comment on your baby arrival post. I forgot to mention that I LOVE the picture of you and brooklyn's faces ...(in the hospital bed)...you need to blow that up and frame it...so precious.

Yucky ants!!! I spray over the ant lines with Windex, and wash it with warm soapy water. The "scouting ants" leave a trail with their butts for the other ants to follow! So you have to wipe that all off. We had a honey incident one year (another story) but every time I see a couple ants I totally freak out and clean off the area they were crawling around.

Yuck! Good luck! Gracy (Heidi's daughter) found ants in their apt. and she started crying and said "They're gonna kill me".
