February News

Wow I am way behind here... and have tons of pictures. This is installment one. First of all, my dad (aka my parents) were in charge of a Stake Valentine's day party at the church (this includes all of the Mormon's in Flagstaff, Williams, and the Grand Canyon). They put on a rockin' luau, complete with ukulele player, hula dancer, and the haka done by my bro. (video at the end of this--not someone you want to meet in a dark ally). They did a great job. There was lots of dancing and some games.
At the end of Feb. my sis and bro in law brought their family down, left their kids, and got away to Scottsdale for a few days. We had a good time ice skating, swimming, and hanging out. Then my whole family (all six siblings together) came for the baby blessing of my little nephew, Brody Eugene. It was much less stressful than Christmas. We had a great time.

Here's my dad with little Addison Juliet. Such a doll!
Alisa and Brooke just adored all three babies in the house. Here's Ailsa with smiley Addison.
Brookie and Malia
The kids wrestling Tanner, my little sister's boyfriend. We tried to warn him that if he wrestled with them once, he'd have some wrestling buddies for life.
There was a huge snow storm. We had fun sledding and playing outside with the San Diego-ans.
One afternoon, my mom graciously watched all the kids while the adults got in a good soak in the snow. Have I mentioned that my parents are both saints?
Cousin Corban all dressed in Alisa's duds... he looks so manly!

At the church after Brody's blessing. Did anyone get a picture of the Crane Clan? This is Tarah's family.

Darin with newest baby Lily (cheeky--she has the chubbiest, cutest cheeks ever... she's SO FLUFFY!)

Ashley showing Alisa how it's done. We had this lovely red velvet cheesecake dessert, after a delicious Cafe Rio style dinner hosted by Tarah and Josh.

Smiley Brody... such a good baby!

Brookie all ready to play in the snow.

I took the kids (older than Eliza) over to the Seaman's sledding hill in their backyard. It is long, steep, and tons of fun! The second day, Jeff and I took them again. It was all iced over and hard. Alisa wiped out on her first run down, scraped up her face, and was out for a bit. Eventually we went back on the slow, heavy sled for a more in-conrol ride.

On the edge of their property, the Seaman's have the remains of an old rock house (ruins). The kids and I had a great time climbing on it and having a snowball fight through the windows.

Ashley and Olivia entertained the kids for at least an hour with puppet shows from Grandma's dusters, squash, and whatever else they could find.
Josh doing the Haka---right at home, New Zealand style.

I had all these comments in my head about all your fun pictures but after watching the Haka video I've forgotten everything. Wow that Haka is intense! And Josh is great at it!
