Halloween Party

Oompa, Loompa doopidee doo, I've got another puzzle for you...

Well, a big shout out to Jenn and Dave Stock for the awesome costume idea. Yes, if you are reading this, we thought it was hilarious last year and decided to copy you. This was not an original idea, but it was so fun we thought we'd try. We won "Most original costume" at a Halloween party Friday and 2nd place at the ward party tonight. Ha! People got a kick out of it (1st place had some AWESOME homemade Alice in Wonderland costumes for their whole family--amazing). Anyway, it was fun. Jake loved the trunk-or-treat. Who says Halloween is just for kids?

Alisa was a pumpkin. Yes, Jacqui, this is the $0.49 outfit from the Children's Place. It was a steal and soooo cute. I didn't think the pink shirt was showing through...oops.

We planned on Jake reusing his Superman outfit from last year, although it is not potty training friendly. A few days ago, people started asking him what he was going to be (at the store, etc.) and he kept saying Peter Pan. So, here's the slightly thrown together Peter Pan outfit. What a cutie! He also had a sword (probably his motivation for wanting to be Peter Pan) from the $ store. Gotta love that place!

We can't wait to see you guys and welcome you to the land of chaos!!

Yes, I made it out of an old shirt I had and some felt for the hat from Christy. Easy cheesy. I found the tights at the dollar store. Not too shabby, eh? :) We should have bought a bunch of those costumes and ebayed them! What were we thinking?
