Pioneers and Lake Mary

Pioneer Day Family Home Evening--Grandma brought costumes to get into the spirit of it. The paraded around while we sang "Pioneer Children Sang as they Walked and Walked..."

Little princess thinks she's big enough to go without a nap. Here she fell asleep watching a movie on her little potty.
Lake Mary with Kelsi and Trevor.
Our ball of energy was brave this trip! He got out on the knee board with Scott, almost tried wake boarding (maybe when I'm 6!) and did the big bertha tube.
Before I got there with grandma, my hubby launched the boat with his sister and our two kids... alone. She's not old enough to drive the boat, so she stood on a rock in the lake holding the boat while he parked the trailer. The kids did well in the boat. Then somehow, they decided to put both kids in the tube while Kels flagged. They got a little freaked out when both kids disappeared and they had no idea if they were alive inside the tube... maybe not the smartest choice! But they were fine and had a great time.

Okay, that last story gave me massive anxiety. Seriously. I can still feel it!

Love the sleeping on the potty shot. I remember when Jacqui was that age and wouldn't take a nap. We'd sit down to dinner about five p.m. and within about two minutes her face would literally plop right in her plate as she fell asleep. Then she'd wake up and not sleep until 11 p.m.! It's a joyous stage of life.

Wow. How very very ambitious. And kind of scary. And super fun.

Sounds like you guys are settling in. Who would have ever imagined this is what life after dental school would bring. To be honest I think you deserved a break before Scott started working.
