Let me just say we are not feeling expecially great. It is barely 10 am today. Jake and I are eating progresso soup (0 ww points) and watching a little P&P. Yes, Jake is actually watching Pride and Prejudice with me! I offered to turn it off, but he wanted it on. We are sitting on my bed, and he says, "Mom, how is the movie?" So I ask him how the movie is. He says, "It's kind of scary. It's the dinosaur!" Yes, a little imagination goes a long way with Jake.

What a dream. Getting a man to watch Pride and Prejudice with you...it happened to me once (fortunately he is not my husband) but that is priceless to have your son warming up to Jane Austen at such a tender age.
Hey, for the record, P & P is one of Jeff's faves! And I think Dad and the boys love it, too. I think if any guy would give it a chance, he'd be hooked (whether he admits it or not).
Love this, Ali. So, did you get an owl pic to pull up? You are so hilarious. You are gorgeous! I've always thought you look like the girl off of Seinfeld--Julie Louis- Dreyfus is her name, I think, although I probably slaughtered the spelling. She's beautiful and funny!
I missed Jake in nursery this week, we always have so much fun with him!
Thats funny because I have been thinking the same thing about Alisa! She has gorgeous big blue eyes! Jake cracks me up. I'm glad you put the funny things he always says and does. And don't worry, the weather is back to being cold and windy. It was nice while it lasted though!
I hope you guys are feeling better!
My kids love P&P too. I love those kinds of days. Ones where you actually get to sit down for more than 12 seconds while you are going to the bathroom... :)
Ali, I am so excited to have found you!!! Your kids are so beautiful!! I love that you two were watching pride and prejudice! That reminds me of Liberty Square days!! I just started a blog, www.marysmen.blogspot.com! Love your buns!!
I love P & P , now that you mentioned it I want to go watch it. If I only had 6 hours....
I love the Jake blogs. They crack me up. He has an amazing imagination. Hope he's making good use of the wooden kitchen thing, I had it for 4 years and couldn't figure out what it was for...Jake finds it and in 2 minutes he's figured out that it's a gun...duh!
